COVID has affected our lives in many ones some more essential than others. We call all agree that what we wear during this time has been relegated to the ‘not important’ category of our lives. It is interesting to observe however, and perhaps down the line, fashion history will document these changes. As we all hunker down for yet another partial lockdown, our view of the world has changed since March. We have finally admitted that things will never really go back to normal. The first lockdown we genuinely thought that we would lock ourselves up, and once its over we can go back to life as usual. Now we know that we need to learn how to live this new life, which has brought with it a new way of dressing. We no longer have the ‘lockdown’ wardrobe and the ‘real life’ wardrobe, they have been fused together to create a particularly comfortable wardrobe that delivers the same amount of convenience and comfort both inside and outside the home.
