Fashion and food are two industries that will always continue to thrive despite whatever else happens in the world. New fashion labels continue to crop up everywhere but whether or not these will be blessed with longevity is another matter entirely. Discovering new and emerging brands is one of the things we love best and we don’t just mean us at CIIN …right ladies? Fashion weeks are ripe opportunities for new street style brands to make their debut and here below are a few brands we just happen to come across!
1 || Aje
This Sydney-based brand is all about the volume. Founded in 2008 by two best friends; Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest, the brand essentially pays homage to Australia’s coastal and urban lifestyle. They offer occasion items as well as basics in art-inspired pieces that reflect their celebration of artisanal techniques and craftsmanship.
Amsterdam-based Gauge81 is a brand-new fashion label that uses striking angles and playful proportions, thus blurring the line between casual and evening wear. Femininity, familiarity and unpredictability at its best.
3 || Christopher Esber
Christopher Esber is an Australian brand that was founded in 2010 in Sydney. The brand is known for its precision tailoring and purity of expression; no one can embody the structured fluidity juxtaposition as well as they can. The masculine and feminine merge together in a contemporary and sophisticated approach.
4 || Michael Lo Sordo
Michael Lo Sordo is another fabulous Australian import that focuses on minimalistic simplicity and elegance. The label is known for it’s fluid silhouettes and it’s washed-silk and cotton poplin fabrics.
