A first-of-its-kind size-less luxury global fashion brand created by the largest chain modelling agency Elite World Group and designed by its CEO and Chief Creative Officer Julia Haart. Celebrating individuality, inclusivity and diversity, the brand boasts bespoke, accessible and avant-garde fashion, where “experience meets expedience”. You can now enjoy online made-to-measure shopping in addition to booking your couture appointment at one of their 32 international ateliers, where e1972 ensures an exclusive white-glove experience.
e1972’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection was launched February 8th in New York, and includes over 80 statement pieces. “I was thinking of my incredible hometown, New York City. I wanted to celebrate the unique beauty and energy of this place. From the street art and graffiti, to the unique animal prints that represent this concrete jungle. e1972 is made to fit every person who dreams of the vibrancy of the city,” shared Haart. The brand was debuted during NYFW at the e1972 runway show in SoHo, featuring a special performance by artist Bebe Rexha.
Forget fitting into fashion. e1972 makes fashion that fits you.
e1972 has eliminated traditional sizing and standard measurement and instead has focused on democratising fashion and fittings. “I wanted to combine the expeditious of shopping at home with a customised luxury experience in a democratised way.” e1972 has launched their own app, which features a 3D body scanning technology which allows users to accurately calculate their measurements at their own convenience. The brand caters to all identities, needs and tastes, offering hemline modification, neckline alterations or changing up the overall cut, adjusting the styles of your personalised garments around your skin-baring moods. Such custom orders will be delivered in approximately 6 weeks.
The brand is also mindfully sustainable, due to their ethically sourced materials and on-demand production approach “We make luxury products with the highest standards and smallest footprint, so you can shop and customise products based on your values” claims the label.
As Vogue Business reports, “Elite hopes that using in-house talent, including designers and models, will let it quickly and inexpensively gain market share.”, “e1972 is part of the modelling agency’s pivot to becoming a talent ecosystem.”
Looks from the runway are now available for pre-order and will soon all be made available for online purchase starting September 2020. Here
