Caitlyn Jenner wearing a floor length Atelier Versace dress skipped the ESPY Awards red carpet, but her children looked glamorous in her absence.
The 65-year-old Olympic gold medallist, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, was expected to walk her first official red carpet at the Wednesday sporting awards ceremony since coming out as a transgender woman in June.
but Caitlyn was noticeably absent from the star-studded welcome mat, with her kids taking the spotlight instead.
Her model daughters Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17, showed up to support their parent in stunning floor-length gowns. Kendall opted for a black number, the gown featured strategically placed panels that kept her concealed while she showed off her endless model legs thanks to the sheer silhouette.
While Kylie stole the show in a golden sequined dress designed by Balmain Paris. The gorgeous sisters both let their hair down for the event. The siblings’ makeup was fairly muted, as they opted for soft nude lipstick colours, light blush, a little eyeshadow and highly defined eyelashes that were lavished with lots with dark mascara.
Caitlyn’s stepchildren Kim, Kourtney and Khloé followed her lead by avoiding the red carpet, choosing instead to attend the taping portion of the ceremony.
But eldest sibling Kourtney seemed to hint via social media the family wanted very few of their famous relatives to walk the ESPY Awards red carpet on Caitlyn’s big night.
“Sister Act 2 is what it’s all about. Deep sister thoughts on our way to the ESPYs (sic),” Kourtney wrote on her Twitter account before the show kicked off.
