There were plenty of sunglasses on the Fall runways, many of them quite familiar to us at this point. Perhaps less familiar were the white sunglasses, which some may feel aren’t that easy to pull off. The stronger the contrast between the lens color and frame color the more challenging.
You will most likely be covering your neck this Fall, and probably with a neckerchief. We haven’t seen this trend in a long time. Pull out your older ones from the very back of your cupboard, fold into a triangle and wrap.
This isn’t for everyone, or perhaps there is a hat that works for each and every one of us.. Either way, they are trending!
No surprises here, meters and meters of chunky chain were layered onto models’ necks as they marched down the runway. Gone are the delicate necklaces as we once knew them….
Bold gold and silver were a strong trend on the runways. Close to the neck choker style, or earrings in heavy gold similar to those worn in the early naughties, thanks to Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.
These come in all shapes and sizes and there really are no rules, the real question is, are you ready to wear them? We particularly like the cotton harness from Jacquemus which creates impact without appearing too goth..
