Rihanna’s first Puma collection is officially available for pre-order.
The singer is known for her flawless fashion sense, often mixing high end looks with a street twist. This hasn’t gone unnoticed by sports giant Puma, who signed her up to design her own collection
Puma by Rihanna is now available for presale on Puma.com. Those currently in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week will also be able to grab a pair at a popup at 312 Bowery Street, between East First and Bleecker Streets, in Soho from September 15 to 17.
Rihanna has been sporting one of her designs for quite some time, and now fans will finally be able to bag them too. The creeper-style sneaker shoe hybrid will be available in black with a white Puma stripe and black sole. All-black and all-tan versions will be hitting shelves later this month. They come with a $120 price tag.
Last December the 27-year-old was named creative director of Puma and was tasked with overseeing the direction of the womenswear line. It’s thought the appointment netted Rihanna a cool $1 million.
“[Rihanna] will work with Puma to design and customise classic Puma styles as well as create new styles to add to the Puma product portfolio,” the brand outlined, promising she’d have a hands-on approach.
Her first ads dropped in April. The sultry black and white shots featured the singer showing off her toned abs in a range of branded sportswear. She also put her dance skills on display with her poses for the campaign.
