Six years as the wife of a PM, Mrs. Samantha Cameron is finally doing her own thing, with a fashion line that launches today. The 45 year-old has set up her own brand Cefinn, named after the initials of her children, and the tables have turned just seven months after leaving Downing Street.
Cameron has plenty of behind the scenes experience in fashion, primarily having worked for Smythson for two decades. After her husband became Prime Minister she announced she was stepping down from her role as creative director of the stationery and leather goods brand to take on a part-time creative consultant position.
Samantha Cameron’s new label comes at a price, with a simple black T-shirt at the cost of £110. Her debut 35-piece collection is designed for ‘practical, modern women who enjoy clothes’..
