Sharing with you some of our gem finds is what we do best, and we quite enjoy doing that! Having stumbled upon an exquisite jewelry collection by the one and only Repossi, we felt compelled to introduce you to it in the hope that you would fall hard head-over-heels with the beauty and genius of such marvels. Inspired by the blast of happiness the designer felt upon creating this collection, the new Blast collection by Repossi is inspired by tribal and African hand-crafted stacked bangles and it coudn’t be more refined.
Gaia Repossi stayed true to her signature style of combining stacking with floating diamonds. The minimal design of the collection combines ultimate notes of elegance and refinement while playing around with the graphic element. The collection includes exquisite rings, cuffs, and earcuffs in pink gold and are set with floating diamonds either pear-shaped or cushion-cut. The rings and earcuffs exist in white gold and black gold diamond versions.
Gaia Repossi, 33 years old, was born in Turin Italy, where she was surrounded by her father’s creativity and jewelry artistry. She studied painting at the Beaux Arts of Paris and pursued a master’s degree in archeology. She was appointed Creative and Artistic Director of the House at the tender age of 21. The House of Repossi was founded in 1920 in Italy, and it shot to fame in the 1970s with the opening of their flagship store in Monte Carlo in 1979, and Paris in 1986 the year that Gaia was born. Gaia’s work created some sort of architectural shift in the House’s direction paving the way for new deigns that would appeal to the younger crowd as well as to the more mature! And she clearly succeeded.
