Carolina Herrera, the perpetually classic brand, has just announced the launch of their first-ever makeup collection. For those in the know, they perhaps might recall that almost 31 years ago Carolina Herrera debuted their signature perfume, and till now that was their only foray into the beauty world. But that all changes mid-March when the entire Carolina Herrera Makeup collection launches first in Harrods, then online and in the Middle East.
The makeup collection was first introduced during Carolina Herrera’s F/W ’20 show on February 10th, where the models were seen sporting vibrant shades of lipstick from the new collection. The makeup collection is expected to include 36 shades of lipstick in different finishes including sheer, satin, and matte. In addition to the lipsticks eight powders are included, one cream-to-powder highlighter, a skin mattifier, a powder brush, and a retractable lip brush. The price point is expected to start at Euro 49.
What’s interesting to note is that after their launch in Harrods, their only brick-and-mortar stores will be located in the Middle East. Their packaging is another major point of attraction; the lipstick tubes come in these luxurious gilded cases that come with their own charms and tassels and all boast various designs and prints such as polka dots, zebra stripes and the house’s archival prints. Everything is customisable, customers have the option to choose the charms and the case print in addition to the lipstick finish.
The models strutted down the runway in their floor-length gowns all boasting full brows and luminescent skin in addition to their full vibrant lips.
