The wildly popular 2009 ‘The September Issue’ movie which documents the preparations required to get the blockbuster Vogue September issue on the racks is being reimagined. This time tackling the preparations for last year’s MET Exhibition and Gala | China Through The Looking Glass.
The exhibition was ‘met’ with an unexpected amount of attention, and is of now, the fifth most visited exhibition of all time, at the MET.
The magnifying glass is also set on the preparations for the particularly star-studded MET gala, which some consider the SuperBowl of fashion. The movie, called ‘The First Monday In May’ will be presented at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 13th, ’16. The trailer will give you a sneak peak of what to expect.
