Bella Hadid thinks about The Weekend while modelling

Model Bella Hadid always has her boyfriend The Weekend on her mind whenever she is working.

The runway beauty reveals she considers the singer somewhat of a muse, as thinking about him while posing helps her achieve the looks needed to get the job done.

You have to have emotion in your eyes (while modelling); you don’t want to look dead,” the 19-year-old explained to Glamour magazine. “I listen to music. I think about my boyfriend.

And, while Bella is a big fan of The Weekend’s work, she claims she is able to separate her man’s onstage alter ego from his personality away from the spotlight, as Abel Tesfaye.

“I’m dating Abel,” she said. “I don’t see him as The Weekend. I’m proud of The Weekend and the music he makes, but I really love Abel.”

The couple has been dating since April, 2015, and earlier this year (16), Bella was by The Weekend’s side when he won his first two Grammy Awards – a moment which marked a significant step in their relationship.

It was a big night for him,” she smiled. “He has worked so hard, and he did so well that night. As a girlfriend I wanted to be there to support him. Seeing him so happy when he won a Grammy made me so happy.

Elsewhere in the Glamour interview, the teen admits she was disappointed by former supermodel Stephanie Seymour, after she suggested Bella’s sister, Gigi Hadid, and her best pal Kendall Jenner did not deserve to be referred to as real models after rising to fame with relative ease.

In a June (16) piece for Vanity Fair magazine, Seymour branded the pair “B**ches of the moment” – and her catty comment left Bella stunned.

“It’s crazy. I’ve worked with Stephanie before and loved her; she was sweet to me,” she recalled. “I don’t know if she meant it (Vanity Fair remark) in that mean way. But even so, it’s still hurtful. My sister and Kendall work their a**es off. We’re all working hard.”

Bella also touches on her struggle with Lyme disease, a health battle which hasn’t exactly won her sympathy from rival runway regulars.

“They always say that I don’t have what I have – but it’s taken a toll on my life since I was 15,” she shared. “I’ll occasionally get comments now like, ‘How do you have this disease if you’re working every day?’ But I didn’t want it to hold me back anymore. I’m still 19; I still have a life and things to do.”

The tick-bourne disease has also affected her mother, former model Yolanda Foster, and her brother, Anwar.
