Kendall Jenner is expanding her business and trying her hand out at something not touched by her siblings. Oral health is a field raw enough to benefit from Jenner’s celeb-status.
Jenner was brushing her teeth wearing nothing but her underpants and a sheer sweater for the photoshoot. Another shot featured Jenner posing with the whitening pen in the front seat of a car. “It was really cool being a part of the building process, it is really based on oral beauty and it goes back to even the aesthetic things and how it looks really nice on your counter.” Jenner says in the video.
Launching in May, Jenner is aiming at positioning Moon as an ‘oral beauty’ brand with its sleek packaging and design, not to be confused with regular dental offerings on the market. Launching in Ulta Beauty Stores, Moon will offer a variety of dental care products that include a teeth whitening pen, charcoal activated peppermint toothpaste, fluoride-free stain removal toothpaste, and tooth brushes and flossing options.
Hoping to capitalise on the clean beauty trend, Moon are quite transparent about the ingredients included in their products. Their website breaks down the contents of their products; for example the teeth whitening formula includes lavender oil, strawberry extract and honeysuckle flower extract, while the toothpaste includes tea tree oil, camu camu, green tea, and cranberry. Whether this line will be as good as it looks, we will find out in no time, though with Jenner’s name on it, it will surely sell out in no time.
