In an exclusive interview with E! behind the scenes of her New York Fenty pop-up, Rihanna got candid about her billionaire beau Hassan Jameel when asked by Zanna Roberts Rassi “Has Hassan helped you with any of this?”, Riri jokingly exclaimed “Oh Hassan is actually an incredible designer! I’m just joking,” as she held back tears of laughter.
It has been rumoured that an engagement may be in the foreseeable future of the love birds, with E! News correspondent Morgan Stewart hypothesising “If I was a betting woman and I had to give my opinion on this, I would think that Rihanna is going to go the long haul with this guy. I see an engagement and I also see a baby, probably. Not yet, cause she definitely wants to smoke a cigarette once in a while, but I definitely see an engagement and then baby in like two years.” A fan page account then uploaded a clip of the premonition to instagram, liked by ‘badgalriri’ herself!
The 31-year-old Grammy winner turned businesswoman opened up about her relationship in a recent interview with Sarah Paulson for Interview Magazine. When asked “Are you in love” the mogul confirmed “Of course I am”, though when bluntly asked “Are you going to get married” Rihanna paused, with Paulson interjecting “She’s silent!” and Riri continuing to play coy adding “Only God knows that, girl. We plan and God laughs, right?” She then went on to share that she wanted to be a mom “more than anything in life”. With the highly anticipated release of her new music, launch of an empire, a potential husband and pending baby, we couldn’t be more excited!
The “Love On The Brain” singer also opened up to Paulson about making time for herself, sharing “It’s only the last couple years that I started to realise that you need to make time for yourself, because your mental health depends on it. If you’re not happy, you’re not going to be happy even doing things that you love doing. It’d feel like a chore. I never want work to feel like a chore. My career is my purpose, and it should never feel like anything other than a happy place.”
“I’ve made little things a big deal, like going for a walk or going to the grocery store,” she continues. “I got into a new relationship, and it matters to me. It was like, ‘I need to make time for this.’ Just like I nurture my businesses, I need to nurture this as well. I’ll shut things down for two days, three days at a time. On my calendar we now have the infamous ‘P,’ which means personal days. This is a new thing.”
