A regular on the Riviera, Bella Hadid was a vision in red as she walked the carpet in vintage Cavalli for the premiere of Pedro Almodovar’s latest film Dolor y Gloria (Pain and Glory), staring Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz. The model diverted from her celestial soft moment in a Dior haute couture white tulle gown the prior night with this vampy crimson dress.
Bella was bedecked in Bulgari rubies to compliment the ruby crystal embroidery on the straps of her halter-neck asymmetrical open back dress.
If the red number seems familiar its because it is, in 2013 actress Sharon Stone stepped out in the sultry silk look for DeGrisogno’s annual Cannes party (where, if you remember, a £1.7 million necklace disappeared in the second jewellery heist of the event!)
You may also recognise the dress from its momentary yet memorable cameo in Mission Impossible III by actress Maggie Q.
This isn’t the first of Bella’s debuts in a bold red, her looks from the Cannes Film Festival back in 2016, 2017 and 2018 made her a Riviera regular in red as she sported the infamous thigh (or hip) — high Vauthier slit gown, Dior duvet-like frock and sheer off-the-shoulder net dress respectively
