Victoria is from Essex, England
She was engaged to Mark Wood before Beckham swept her off her feet. Her life may have been very different!
She earned the name Posh Spice as her dad used to drop her off at school in their swanky Rolls Royce. Victoria was embarrassed by her family’s wealth and often begged her father not to drop her off outside the school in their Rolls.
Her first atelier was the school bathroom: “I’ve always loved fashion. At school, I used to do a little bit of customizing the school uniform in the toilets at lunchtime.”
Although it might be hard to believe given her svelte frame – Victoria was a bit chubby when she was growing up. She recalls being called a “fat puppy” by her mother which led to her being self conscious of her weight from a very young age.
Instead of wearing the typical school backpack to carry her books, she used a Gucci handbag.
Her first date was at McDonald’s:”He was the first boy to ask me out at school because I really wasn’t popular with the boys. They weren’t interested in me.”
She auditioned for the role of Lara Croft in the 2001 film, Tomb Raider, but lost out to the one and only Angelina Jolie.
The first and last time we saw her crack a smile was when she and David announced their engagement in January 1998.
She had a cameo appearance on Ugly Betty in 2007.
She wrote two books. The first one Learning to Fly was released 2001 and the second one filled with fashion advices and tips called That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between instantly became a bestseller
The one person Victoria Beckham says she would love to have dinner with is Hillary Clinton.
Victoria Beckham rarely steps out without her high heels. “What might feel like a nine-inch heel to most people is like a flip-flop to her,” close friend Heidi Klum told Harper’s Bazaar.
Victoria Beckham is not only a pretty face with success to match, she also has pearls of wisdom to share with the world. “If you can get your head around your dream it means your dream isn’t big enough.”
Victoria has made it a habit of favoring a pose which means her right arm is deliberately hidden from the camera, accentuating her impressive figure.
