Celine Dion has been on some sort of style evolution for the past few seasons. The songstress has been seen roaming and literally strutting her stuff in the streets as well as the red carpets, and she’s been embracing edgy labels alongside classic ones. Her outfit choices can easily range from the extremely eccentric to the most sophisticated and she somehow manages to pull off everything. Being the music and style icon that she is, she has walked the red carpets more times than anyone can imagine, and has made fashion statements as much as she had made best-selling songs. This past month Dion has stepped out in a fantastic array of avant-garde outfits that one simply must take note of. Below are ten of our favourites.
Out and about in New York City, Celine has nailed four trends in one outfit. She had the Peter Pan collar peeking out from underneath a fair isle sweater, while her baggy jeans are expertly tucked inside a pair of slouchy brown boots for an undone look that is so on trend.
Celine has expertly combined over-the-knee boots with skinny jeans and a gown coat by Brandon Maxwell. Note the beautiful marriage of navy and black.
Though I’m not sure how I feel about this Marc Jacobs look…. actually I do but then again what would Celine care what I feel!! The singer arrived at her sold-out show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn looking uber cool and effortlessly so.
One of Celine’s most recent looks is this Barbie-doll hot pink ensemble that included a pleated over-the-knee skirt over a pair of wide-legged pants, a button down, a blazer, and a hot pink bag. The only other accessories are her clear white sunglasses and a thin silver belt.
Celine stepped back in time on March 3rd with the assistance of 8 Moncler Richard Quinn. Dion’s outfit channeled the 60’s in a white 3-D floral coat with matching tights and white accessories including a turtleneck and not including her sunglasses.
Celine opted for a cool cape from Michael Kors Collection for a look that gave off such detective vibes that only Dion herself can pull off with ease.
Dion went all Oscar de la Renta for this spring-perfect garden look. She paired a botanical pink and green balloon skirt with an embroidered knit top and white boots.
By far my favourite look for the diva, Dion stepped out for a ballet performance in New York City wearing a black and gold sequin Proenza Schouler skirt with a leather scarf top from the same brand. She finished off her outfit with leather gloves and a gold clutch.
Celine out and about in New York City in a Prada neon pink outfit. Again, too eccentric for most tastes.
Celine channeled her inner grungy diva in this outfit; perfectly blending tulle with combat boots.
