It only takes one naked Kardashian to spark interest in whatever kind of campaign they’re launching right now. Though this time the naked Kardashian in question is neither Kim nor Kylie; Kourtney Kardashian’s latest Instagram post teased her latest venture, Poosh. The post does not explain what Poosh exactly is but people can easily speculate given the nature of the post. Naked Kourtney is lounging naked in her bathroom atop her fashionable sink. She’s holding a teacup in one hand and a laptop in the other and is surrounded by shelves of beauty products of indeterminate origin.
The tagged account shows a link to Poosh’s website which in turn displays a sign-up list for the band that is yet to be launched. And in case you were wondering about the origin of Poosh; it is the nickname for Kourtney’s six-year-old daughter Penelope Disick. Speculations ranged from a clean beauty brand, given Kourtney’s involvement with updating the FDA regulations in the beauty industry as well as her role in advocating clean beauty, to speculations about Poosh being a lifestyle brand much in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop. Some even went so far as to think that Kourtney’s knack for décor might have something to do with this.
Despite our continuous skepticism of anything Kardashian-related but we must admit that these ladies are quite the forceful businesswomen. With many uber-successful beauty and fashion labels under their belts, we cannot help but wonder about the nature of Poosh. I personally feel that it’s going to be a combination of both; a lifestyle website that offers its own clean beauty brand.. with a line dedicated for children possibly. We’ll just have to wait and see.
