Just when we thought that our admiration for Nelly Karim couldn’t get any stronger she shows up on the Venice Film Festival and impresses us again. The first Egyptian actress to ever sit on a Venice Film Festival judging panel, Nelly represented her nation with elegance and beauty.
The festivities started at the opening ceremony on August 31, ’16 with a stunning velvet ’lady in red’ look. The actress was a vision of sophistication in her strapless evening gown by Lebanese designer Antoine Kareh. The first day also saw the Arab talent reporting for ‘Orizzonti’ jury duty in a pinstriped off-the-shoulder ensemble also by Antoine Kareh.
The actress switched things up a bit with a fabulous off-the-shoulder evening jumpsuit on September 3,’16 for the premiere of ‘The Young Pope’. Her understated elegance at the festival undoubtedly filling us with pride, not only for her appearance but also for her achievement… Go Nelly!
