These Are Ayah Mufleh’s Current Favourite Eyeliner Trends!

I never really adopt a certain makeup trend automatically, it usually takes me some time to get a feel for new trends and more often than not I end up not following them. But this is not the case with the eyeliner trends! It probably has to do with the fact that I used to love wearing eyeliner as a teenager! Nonetheless, I’m seriously loving these trends….unfortunately these looks are not for everyone! It takes a certain type of a risk-taking personality to try out these looks. If you’re into eyeliner you may want to give the incomplete wing a try, or perhaps the graphic or crazy eyeliner look might take your fancy! Either way check out my favourite eyeliner trends below if you use makeup for self-expression like I do…

1 || Colored Eyeliner: I would go for a one-tone eyeliner or mix it up with a little black. You may want to try eyeliner in purple, blue and emerald green, or even gold if it matches with any of your outfits. You can apply it as a wing liner, or under the eye with a pencil to smudge it out.

2 || Negative Space Eyeliner: It’s exactly like applying the regular wing liner just minus filling in the wing! So leave the inside of the wing unfilled.

3 || Incomplete Wing: Start with a regular winged liner and then extend the line to the top of your crease tracing it into a V-shape. Do not extend past a 1/3 of the length of your eyelid. The best liquid liner to provide the easiest application is Grandiose Liner by Lancôme due to its bendable tip.

4 || Dark Eyeliner: It’s just like the classic eyeliner look except that you have to make the line thicker and just use black eyeliner. Apply the liner on the upper and lower eyelids connecting them in the inner corners of your eye.

The most inspiring eyeliner look that rocked the runway was the colorful graphic cat-eye look at the Jeremy Scott show.
